MailChimp has launched Customer Journeys – which is part of MailChimp Automation. It is now easier to visualise automated email sequences.
Pre-built customisable templates include: welcome email; reach your tagged contacts; abandoned cart emails; and share your blog posts.
Suggestions are provided for complex journeys with multiple steps.
Branching is allowed i.e. send this message to segment A and that message to segment B.
Drag-and-drop functionality is included, as well as an intuitive UX.
Rules are: If / Else; Wait (i.e. a Tag is added); Delay.
Actions are: Send an email; Add or remove Tag.
At the time of writing, different aspects of Customer Journeys are available to different account level holders, within MailChimp.
