If you are interested in Mind Mapping software, take a look at the Ayoa mind mapping software.
I use Mind Mapping for training workshops, presentations, public speaking, webinars, creative thinking / problem solving and for a host of other things.
The brain works by association, with one thought naturally leading to another. This is one of the reasons why Mind Maps work so well, as the branch structure helps us to see connections between one thought and another.
You can of course create your Mind Maps on sheets of blank paper. Place the paper sideways and start with an image of your topic in the centre of the map. Then draw coloured branches, using a separate colour for each branch.
I still draw some of my Mind Maps, however software generated maps tend to look more professional.
Mind Mapping was created by Tony Buzan. My office was across the corridor from Tony’s for five years. He was an interesting person and I learnt a great deal from him. He kindly included one of my marketing Mind Maps in The Mind Map book.
Here is a free to use online Mind Map creation website: MindMup
